Golden Fable + Hugh + All the People @ The Lexington
Wednesday, November 26
Due to Licensing issues at Madame JoJo's we've had to relocate & reschedule this show to The Lexington in Kings Cross. We apologies for the inconvenience.
Tickets are £6 Advance.
Golden Fable are releasing their second album on 10th November. It's called 'Ancient Blue' and a little while after we're having them to play. "Golden Fable are Rebecca Palin, Tim McIver and Jack McCarthy. Rebecca’s soaring, haunting vocal shines through, whilst multi-instrumentalist Tim creates the layered musical landscapes beneath. This fusion is perfectly complimented by Jack’s inspired and considered drum patterns. Based in the foothills of the mountains in north Wales, Golden Fable are unashamedly linked to the natural world, inspired by the rich and varied landscapes that surround them."

Hugh: "the perfect counter to Sophie's Day-Glo wallop, it's a nocturnal, gently twinkling set. It slinks its way seductively through quiet yearning soul, soft-focus synth pop and darkly intriguing electronics" - Q

Opening we have All the People: Little is known about this South London based three piece. Check out a demo that showcases their ear for groove based UK soul, akin to Sampha and Movement here
