We're kicking off our tenth birthday celebrations with Spector. Between them they've played live for us in quite a few different bands & they did some of their early shows with us too - before they'd settled on a name or lineup.
White Heat didn't emerge fully formed a decade ago - it took us six months to get from DJing to booking bands too. So the birthday's going to be spread over those six months with a series of parties & events...
Spector's Fred says "We're pleased to announce that we'll be playing the first of White Heat's 10th birthday celebrations on Tuesday August 20th, warming up for Reading and Leeds, doing old songs and new and basically putting on a hell of a show.
For those who don't know, White Heat is a legendary London indie night - the first club that I ever went to, and one of the first places to put on my band Les Incompétents when I was 17. It's an honour for us to play for them and we'd love 300 of you to come join us for the party."
