Fergus and Geronimo + Prizes + Fanzine + Jeffrey Jerusalem latenight

Latenight: Jeffrey Jerusalem
He's from Americaaaa, he last played for us as part of Yacht and - well
- that's a pretty great pedigree right there. Here's a quote I found
on a blog which I think should give you an idea.
"Every once in a while, a surprising artist transforms a party
with their performance. This was the case with Jeffrey Jerusalem,
a young man from Portland who played a set at a YACHT after party I
attended in San Francisco. It was a short set, maybe around 30
minutes, but as soon as he started the party became the most exciting
it had been all night. "

Stax stained, 60’s inspired timeless pop from the combined forces/harmonies
of Denton's Andrew Savage and Jason Kelly.
"Fergus & Geronimo have a better grasp on classic song-form
than most of their fellow garage new jacks, and they also have some
great little musical touches that none of their peers would attempt:
maracas, for instance, or a weeping 60s-soul organ." Pitchfork

Beaming, soul-baring minimilism built around a crisp, clear melody.
"Prizes is the reverb-soaked one-man band of young London resident
Hari Ashurst, a guy who cites “Fleetwood Mac, J Dilla, Beach Boys,
Lou Reed, Highlife, Cosmic forces, Afro-beat, Field recordings,”
etc., as influences while mentioning he wants to write choruses like
Hall & Oates." Stereogum
Fanzine

Breezy and lush, open chorded lilting pop songs.
"Fanzine return us to a purist vision of the moment when shoegaze
became tinted by late eighties US college rock." TLOBF
